Top quality lubricant for drawing pure aluminium and electrical grade alloys on high speed slip machines.

Under recommended conditions, top drawing speeds can be achieved while attaining an excellent bright surface finish on the drawn wire. The lubricant is inhibited against premature ageing, so longer bath life can be expected. A unique additive is also employed for dispersing small quantities of water, and allowing drawing to continue unhindered.

Has all the properties of ALUMOL 145, but is formulated to have a higher lubricating film strength to cope with the high temperatures which result when mechanical alloys are drawn. It is also preferred when electrical grade aluminium is drawn and lubricant temperatures are high. Surface finish is reportedly enhanced by the use of ALUMOL 195, and often machine speeds can be increased.
Lower viscosity lubricants suitable for drawing pure aluminium rod in machines where pumping higher viscosity lubricants may be a problem.

Three low viscosity grades of lubricant used especially for drawing fine sizes of 5000 series alloys on high speed slip machines. Formulated to give the optimum results in die life, surface finish and production speeds.

These lubricants are also used in the final die boxes of multi-hole non-slip machines to give a clean bright finish to the drawn wire. Other lubricants used for non-slip drawing are ALUMOL 500, 1000 and DBL. Selection depends on the type of lubrication system.

A fully synthetic lubricant which is used for drawing large aluminium/aluminium alloy sections on draw benches and “Schumag” type equipment. It possesses both excellent lubricating and bright annealing properties leaving drawn and heat treated sections free of residual deposits. Can eliminate the use of interstage degreasing processes.
Used for drawing fine aluminium wire, where an oil free surface is required, e.g. wire for enamelling.
