Heavy
duty rod breakdown lubricants also suitable for intermediate sizes.
Lubricool 22GX has particularly robust performance, across a wide
range of operating conditions. Suitable for both plain and tin plated
copper wires.
Bridges the gap between semi-synthetic
and synthetic lubricants by incorporating technology from both areas
within the product formulation. This innovative combination enhances
performance particularly in more sensitive applications, where high
performance is demanded, such as high speed drawing of fine and
superfine wires on single and multi-wire drawing machines. Magnet
wire production on horizontal and vertical in-line systems, as well
as off-line systems also benefit from its use. Also suited to fine
tin plated wire production.
Pure synthetic lubricants which
form solutions rather than emulsions when mixed in water. They give
excellent results when copper, tin plated copper, precious metals
and other materials are drawn down to fine and superfine sizes <0.15mm.
Drawing cones remain free of tacky deposits and wire breakages can
be dramatically reduced. Sizes as low as 0.03mm are successfully
produced. Lubricool 385 has boosted anti-wear properties to enhance
performance such as increased drawing speeds and extended die-life.
The
previous lubricants cover most applications for plain and tin plated
copper wires. However, because of the diverse nature of business
in some companies, and special local conditions, a number of other
lubricants exist for special purposes:-
A versatile heavy
duty lubricant used for copper, brass and fine aluminium wires.
An all rounder
for copper and tin plated copper wire also used for drawing fine brass
wires.
Predecessors to
LUBRICOOL 318, still popular with many companies.
Designed for producing
bright cold rolled, copper strip, sheet and rod. Also suitable for
rolling aluminium strip.
Designed for use
in continuous annealers where wire brightness and cleanliness are
particularly important.
