Packaging Operator

Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing lubricant small packing team as a Small Pack Operator.

The Small Pack Operator will be a multi-skilled packing associate who is responsible achieving maximum efficiency of our packing lines whilst ensuring our highest Safety and Quality Standards are maintained. The Packaging Operator is a key position in the success of the Metalube plant and plays a key part in securing quality product, right first time to our customers.

The successful candidate in this role will be flexible, hardworking and a team player as well as someone who takes responsibility for their own personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fill the Small pack with specified product to ensuring correct weight.
  • Attach correct identification Labels to product and box (CLP and Product identification)
  • Seal package and place on to pallet and maintain quality in transit.
  • Support peers in achieving highest Safety, Quality and Efficiency standards
  • Ensure cleaning regimes are upheld and fulfilled to the highest standard.
  • Ensure Critical Control Points and mandatory Quality checks are completed as required. If deviation notify the relevant line manger

Salary: £17,000 - £18,000

Full time (flexible)

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

What qualifications you need:

  • Excellent Written, Spoken English and numeration Skills
  • Experience in Manufacturing environment

Prefer Skills

  • Forklift licence
  • Experience working Chemical Manufacturing Environment
