Due to continued growth and investment, we are recruiting for a Customer Service and Logistics Executive to join our Metalube team in Irlam. You’ll be responsible for working with the team assuring a smooth customer journey from order receival through to shipping and delivery maintaining the high levels of customer service throughout.

Customer Service and Logistics Executive

The ideal person will have Sea Freight and European export experience and be keen to develop their skill set within the role. The main duties of this role will be to work as part of the Customer Service and Logistics team to arrange and manage the end-to-end transportation of goods when leaving the site in Irlam. An understanding of the necessary paperwork that must be legally completed for Customs to allow goods to leave the country is essential.

We are looking for:

  • Great communication skills
  • Team player
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Follow standard operating procedures for all logistics activities
  • Use of Salesforce and/or SAP would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of Sea Freight and European Export
