Leading lubricant manufacturer Metalube has been awarded ISO 45001, to complement its ISO 9001 & 14001 accreditation.  

Metalube has been granted the seal of approval securing their latest international standard accreditation in occupational health and safety (OH&S) management systems ISO 45001. The team achieved the status after putting into place policies and procedures enabling Metalube to improve OH&S performance by integrating additional aspects of health and safety such as preventing injury, ill-health and worker wellness/wellbeing.

ISO 14001 specifies the requirements for an environmental management system that an organisation can use to enhance its environmental performance. It is used to manage environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability. Key areas are enhancement of environmental performance, fulfilment of compliance obligations and achievement of environmental objectives

ISO 45001 is an International Standard that specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, it helps to put in place policies and procedures to enable an organization to proactively improve its OH&S performance in preventing injury and ill-health. ISO 45001 enables an organization, through its OH&S management system, to integrate other aspects of health and safety, such as worker wellness/wellbeing.
