Metalube® Welcomes Two New Technical Specialists Join Metalube Technology Centre

2 new starters in the Metalube Laboratory

Metalube, has appointed two highly skilled chemists into its Manchester laboratory.

Development Chemist, Samuel Adamson, brings 5 years of experience to the team.  Focusing on Metal Processing applications within Metalube’s product ranges, Sam is involved in both new and existing product development.  Sam will be an integral part of the Metalube Technology Centre, with responsibilities including production queries, sourcing raw materials and the creation of technical datasheets and product specifications.  Sam joins from Lankem where he specialised in the development of surfactant-based products.

Lily Smith has joined as a Research and Development Technician; her principal role is to conduct technical and customer service tasks along with product development. Lily’s work will enable the team to spot trends in customer service analysis and long-term product stabilities, boosting the company’s technical knowledge for Metalworking fluids.

Chris Nettleship s “We are pleased to welcome two high calibre candidates to our team.  Lily’s specialist skills have derived from working at Hall Analytical in Manchester.  Here she conducted many critical tests on a wide range of customer samples and Samuel’s surfactant experience is particularly valuable in metal processing applications, and will further strengthen our technical offering. We are delighted to have them both on-board. “
